These Terms & Conditions apply to the Mintside Cards 500 Followers Pokémon Giveaway (the “Promotion”). By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Promoter

Referred to throughout these Terms & Conditions as “Mintside Cards”, “we”, “us” or the “Promoter”.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
2.2. Employees, directors, agents or contractors of Mintside Cards, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to enter.
2.3. Entrants must have a valid Facebook or Instagram account, depending on the method of entry used.
2.4. No purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion.
2.5. Internet access and access to Facebook and/or Instagram are required to participate.
3. Promotion Period
3.1. The Promotion opens when the official giveaway posts are published by Mintside Cards on Facebook and Instagram (the “Opening Date”).
3.2. Entries will close on the earlier of:
- Mintside Cards reaching 500 followers on either its official Facebook page or official Instagram account; or
- 11:59pm BST on 30 September 2026.
This is referred to as the “Closing Time”.
3.3. If the 500-follower milestone is reached before 30 September 2026, Mintside Cards will make a reasonable record of the time the milestone was achieved and the eligible entries received up to that point.
3.4. Entries submitted after the Closing Time will not be included in the draw.
3.5. The Promotion will close by 11:59pm BST on 30 September 2026 even if the 500-follower milestone has not been reached.
4. How to Enter on Instagram
To receive one Instagram entry, an entrant must complete all of the following during the Promotion Period:
- Follow the official Mintside Cards Instagram account @mintsidecards;
- Like the official Instagram giveaway post; and
- Mention/tag three different people in a comment on the official Instagram giveaway post.
4.1. The three accounts mentioned must be genuine Instagram accounts. Automated, fake, impersonation or spam accounts must not be used to satisfy the entry requirement.
4.2. Multiple comments or additional tags will not result in additional entries.
4.3. A maximum of one Instagram entry per person will be accepted.
5. How to Enter on Facebook
To receive one Facebook entry, an entrant must complete all of the following during the Promotion Period:
- Follow the official Mintside Cards Facebook page;
- Like the official Facebook giveaway post; and
- Leave a comment on the official Facebook giveaway post stating which of the four giveaway products they would be most excited to open.
5.1. Entrants are not required to tag friends, share the post or share the Promotion to their own or another person's Timeline in order to enter on Facebook.
5.2. Multiple comments will not result in additional entries.
5.3. A maximum of one Facebook entry per person will be accepted.
6. Bonus / Cross-Platform Entry
6.1. Entrants may enter the Promotion once on Facebook and once on Instagram.
6.2. A person who successfully completes the entry requirements on both platforms will therefore receive two entries into the final prize draw.
6.3. The maximum number of entries permitted is:
Two entries per person — one Facebook entry and one Instagram entry.
6.4. No additional entries will be awarded for multiple comments, multiple tags, shares, reposts, Story shares or use of additional accounts.
6.5. Entrants must not create or use multiple, duplicate or fraudulent social media accounts for the purpose of obtaining additional entries.
7. Verification of Entries
7.1. Mintside Cards reserves the right to verify that an entrant has complied with the relevant entry requirements before awarding the prize.
7.2. If privacy settings or platform functionality prevent Mintside Cards from reasonably verifying that the selected winner followed or liked the relevant account/post, the selected winner may be asked to provide reasonable evidence that the entry requirements were completed before the Closing Time.
7.3. Entries generated using bots, automated systems, scripts, fake accounts, duplicate accounts or other methods intended to manipulate the Promotion may be disqualified.
7.4. Mintside Cards may disqualify an entrant where it reasonably believes that the entrant has:
- breached these Terms & Conditions;
- attempted to manipulate the Promotion;
- provided false or misleading information;
- used fraudulent or duplicate accounts; or
- otherwise acted unfairly towards other entrants.
8. The Prize
There is one prize bundle and one winner.
The winner will receive:
- 1× Pokémon TCG: First Partner Illustration Collection – Series 1
- 1× Pokémon TCG: First Partner Illustration Collection – Series 2
- 1× Pokémon TCG: First Partner Illustration Collection – Series 3
- 1× Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box
The winner receives all four products as one prize bundle.
9. Prize Conditions
9.1. No purchase or payment is required to claim the prize.
9.2. There is no cash alternative to the prize.
9.3. The prize is subject to availability.
9.4. Mintside Cards intends to supply the prize exactly as described. If, because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, one or more advertised products cannot reasonably be supplied, Mintside Cards may substitute the affected product with a product of reasonably equivalent or greater value.
9.5. Any substitute will, wherever reasonably possible, be another Pokémon Trading Card Game product appropriate to the original prize.
9.6. The winner will not be charged delivery costs for delivery of the prize to a valid UK address.
9.7. The prize is for personal use and will be dispatched to the winner at the UK address they provide when claiming the prize.
10. Winner Selection
10.1. After the Promotion closes, all valid Facebook and Instagram entries will be compiled into the final draw.
10.2. Entrants with one valid platform entry will appear once in the draw.
10.3. Entrants who have validly entered on both Facebook and Instagram will appear twice in the draw.
10.4. One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.
10.5. The winner will be selected using a verifiably random computer-based selection method.
10.6. Mintside Cards will retain reasonable evidence of the selection process so that it can demonstrate that the winner was selected fairly and at random.
11. Winner Notification
11.1. The winner will normally be selected within three working days of the Closing Time.
11.2. The winner will be contacted by Mintside Cards using the Facebook or Instagram account associated with the winning entry.
11.3. The initial winner notification will only come from an official Mintside Cards account.
11.4. Mintside Cards will never ask the winner to make a payment, provide bank/card details or pay postage in order to claim the prize.
11.5. The selected winner must respond within 7 days of the initial winner notification and provide the information reasonably required to verify their eligibility and deliver the prize.
11.6. Mintside Cards will make reasonable efforts to contact the selected winner.
11.7. If the selected winner:
- does not respond within 7 days;
- cannot reasonably be contacted;
- declines the prize;
- cannot provide a valid UK delivery address;
- is found to be ineligible; or
- has not complied with these Terms & Conditions,
Mintside Cards reserves the right to withdraw the prize from that entrant and select a replacement winner using the same random selection process.
12. Delivery of the Prize
12.1. Once the winner has been successfully verified and supplied a valid UK delivery address, Mintside Cards will arrange delivery of the prize.
12.2. The prize will normally be dispatched within 30 days of the winner successfully claiming the prize.
12.3. The winner is responsible for ensuring that the delivery information they provide is complete and accurate.
12.4. Mintside Cards is not responsible for a prize being delayed or undeliverable because the winner supplied incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
13. Winner Announcement
13.1. Mintside Cards intends to announce that a winner has been selected on its social media channels after the winner has been verified.
13.2. The winner's social media username may only be included in public winner-announcement content where it is appropriate to do so.
13.3. To demonstrate that a valid prize award has taken place, Mintside Cards may make available the winner's surname and county to people who reasonably request this information.
13.4. Entrants may object to their surname and/or county being published or made available, or may request that the amount of information disclosed is reduced.
13.5. Where a winner objects to publication, Mintside Cards may nevertheless provide relevant winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority where required.
14. Personal Information and Privacy
14.1. Personal information supplied in connection with the Promotion will be used as reasonably necessary to:
- administer the Promotion;
- verify eligibility;
- contact the winner;
- arrange delivery of the prize;
- prevent fraud or abuse; and
- comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
14.2. The selected winner may be asked to provide their full name, age or confirmation of age, postal address and other information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility and deliver the prize.
14.3. Entrants' personal information will be handled in accordance with the Mintside Cards Privacy Policy, available on mintsidecards.com.
14.4. Entry into this Promotion does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive email, SMS or other direct marketing from Mintside Cards.
15. Facebook and Instagram
15.1. This Promotion is administered solely by Mintside Cards.
15.2. The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
15.3. By participating, entrants acknowledge that Facebook and Instagram have no responsibility for the administration of the Promotion or fulfilment of the prize.
15.4. Entrants release Facebook and Instagram from claims arising solely from the administration of this Promotion to the extent permitted by law.
15.5. Entrants must also comply with the applicable terms and rules of the social media platform they use to enter.
16. Pokémon Disclaimer
16.1. This Promotion is independently operated by Mintside Cards.
16.2. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with The Pokémon Company International, Nintendo, Creatures Inc. or GAME FREAK inc.
16.3. Pokémon and related names, characters and trademarks belong to their respective rights holders.
17. Availability of the Promotion
17.1. Mintside Cards is not responsible for temporary technical failures affecting Facebook, Instagram, internet services or other systems outside its reasonable control.
17.2. However, Mintside Cards will take reasonable steps to ensure that all identifiable valid entries received before the Closing Time are included in the draw.
17.3. Proof that an entrant attempted to submit an entry does not necessarily constitute proof that an entry was successfully received.
18. Changes or Cancellation
18.1. Mintside Cards does not intend to change these Terms & Conditions once the Promotion has begun.
18.2. Mintside Cards may only cancel, suspend or make necessary changes to the Promotion where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.
18.3. Any such action will be taken in a way intended to minimise disadvantage or unnecessary disappointment to existing entrants and will be communicated through the official Mintside Cards social media channels where reasonably possible.
18.4. The Closing Time will not normally be extended or otherwise changed after the Promotion begins.
19. Responsibility
19.1. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
19.2. Subject to clause 19.1, Mintside Cards will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control in connection with participation in the Promotion.
19.3. Entrants remain responsible for their own use of Facebook and Instagram and for complying with those platforms' terms and policies.
20. General
20.1. Mintside Cards will administer the Promotion fairly and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
20.2. If there is a conflict between these Terms & Conditions and abbreviated promotional wording elsewhere, these Terms & Conditions will apply, provided that nothing in these Terms may be used to retrospectively remove or materially alter a significant condition advertised to entrants.
20.3. If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
20.4. Failure by Mintside Cards to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions immediately does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
21. Governing Law
21.1. These Terms & Conditions and the Promotion are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights entrants may have under the laws applicable in the part of the United Kingdom in which they live.
21.2. Nothing in these Terms affects an entrant's statutory rights.
